ACT 


further to amend the [10][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Finance Ordinance, 1982.

 

            WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the [11][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Province Finance Ordinance, 1982, for the purpose hereinafter appearing;

Preamble.

 

            It is hereby enacted as follows:—

 

    1.     (1) This Act may be called the [12][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Finance (Amendment) Act, 1985.

Short title and commencement.

 

            (2) It shall come into force at once and shall be deemed to have taken effect on 1st July, 1984.

 

    2.     In the [13][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Ordinance No. V of 1982, in sub-section (1) of section 4,-

Amendment of section 4 of [14][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Ord. V of 1982.

 

(a)    for the words and figure "at the rate of Rs. 2.50 per maund" the words and figure "at the rate of Rs. 7.00 per bag" shall be substituted; and

 

(b)   at the end of sub-section (1) as so amended, the following explanation shall be inserted, namely:

 

    "Explanation.—For the purposes of this section bag means a bag, the net weight of Gur wherein does not exceed 75 kilograms.".

 

    3.     The [15][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Finance (Amendment) Ordinance, 1985 ([16][Khyber Pakhtunkhwa] Ordinance No. X of 1985), is hereby repealed.

Repeal.
